McCauley asked how long it would take to install the system if accepted. Olson told the Council the amount would come out of their budgeted $76,000 for the water company, explaining that about $350 has been spent from that so far. Flores believes the system has a one to two year warranty. Woods asked if there was a warranty for the system.
Flores told the Council the control system is $9,050, and the install is $4,770, with a total cost of $13,820. Flores explained the well systems to the council, explaining how the system controller shuts off the well to protect the entire system from potential failure and damage. The Council moved on to the next topic, the purchase of Water Well Emergency Shutoff. The Council moved and passed the motion to accept the bid from CRAFCO for $29,250. CRAFCO gave a bid of $29,250, and MAC gave a bid of $32,220, each for an amount of 45,000 pounds. Ruben Flores told the Council of the two bids he received for pavement crack sealant. The Council started with bids for Crack Sealant. The consent agenda was accepted and approved by the council. The meeting was called to order at 5:00pm by Mayor McCauley. Those present at the meeting were Mayor Tim McCauley, Council Members: Ken Warner, Sam Guy, Caleb Woods, Terry Maas, and Mark Diaz City Clerk Sarah Britton, City Administrator Alan Olson, and City Attorney David Black.
